Brief
Nestled in the heart of Greater Western Sydney, Westpoint Blacktown transcends the boundaries of architecture, technology and artistry.
With a restoration and upgrade of the original car park structure by QIC and Construction Control, and a wayfinding strategy designed by Strategic Spaces, OMG! were engaged to manufacture and install multiple suspended wayfinders, freestanding wayfinders, cantilevered signage and carpark directional supergraphics.

process
The large-scale, visually impactful directional supergraphics were applied to the concrete surfaces using a mask and spray method, which allowed for precise lines, bold graphics and an overall consistent aesthetic across each level.
The comprehensive wayfinding solution seamlessly integrated with the rollout of a parking guidance system in 2021. OMG! manufactured and installed 230 aluminum wayfinding signs strategically indicating parking availability across 4,300 parking bays, ensuring customer convenience at Westpoint.
Our internal suspended wayfinding and freestanding level directories seamlessly merge into the nature-inspired surroundings of the Cumberland Plains.
